Miss Dee Licious

Winner of Miss Charity Drag UK

Miss Dee Licious, winner of THE title Miss Charity Drag UK 2019, all the way from Belgium has made it her mission to spread love and respect.

We asked Miss Dee to tell us a little about  herself and this is what she had to say…

My name is Miss Dee Licious, I am 39 and originally from Belgium. I started drag in November 2018 from playing with makeup and trying to sew garments that same year. I was thinking let’s try it and see how it makes me feel and how people respond to it in Norwich where I live. The buzz from it was so powerful and made me feel positive. I suddenly had the need to want to do more with it and focus on the mental health side based around self-esteem and confidence. But I didn’t really know which road to take. Then Miss Drag UK popped up on my Instagram, as I didn’t have a Facebook page at the time and thought that could be a great platform for me to start a mission of love and positive diversity around me and on social media. Little did I know that 4 months later, after coming out as Miss Dee, I would win one of the crowns as Miss Charity Drag UK!

This title means a lot to me as it’s part of what I do in my fitness business since 2012. Supporting charities and mental health all together. Since then, my life as a drag Queen has been full of love and respect. My fans and the members of the public I meet in the LGBT community, pubs, charitable events or anywhere I go is a moment of pure joy. My drag work is based around the feel-good factor, beauty queen, fun parties and helping raising money for charity which I always do. My profile is growing, and I am proud to be the first ever Miss Charity Drag UK to spread this message that we all deserve love.

What’s to come?

Miss Dee is busy enjoying her life as a loved drag queen and always ready to make others feel good about themselves. Thank you Miss Drag UK for this amazing platform.

Love always,

Miss Dee Licious “did you say fabulous!”
